- Our eagerness to practice diversity, equity, and inclusion in CMA makes it easy to become overzealous. Instead of feeling welcomed, historically marginalized groups can often feel tokenized. If fulfilling our primary purpose means carrying the message of recovery to every addict, we must do so without being weird. In this workshop, we will learn how to be hospitable to diverse newcomers by exploring strategies that attract all people into the fellowship of CMA.

- As saying goes, “Service keeps you sober.” If we all agree that everybody deserves to be sober, we must also agree that everybody deserves to participate in all levels of service in CMA. However, many who come to the fellowship are unaware of the wide variety of service opportunities that are available to them, especially people of color, women, transgender people, people with disabilities, and other historically marginalized groups. This CMA Service 101 workshop is an opportunity for us to learn about the service structure of CMA and ensure that everyone in our fellowship knows that they belong in service. ***This workshop is for people of color, women, transgender people, people with disabilities, and other historically marginalized groups.

- The DEI Advisory Committee is hosting our second of four workshops. This workshop will allow the fellowship to hear from addicts living with disabilities and their experience attending CMA meetings and living free from addiction to crystal meth. The goal of this Accessibility Listening Session is to improve our access as a fellowship and ensure that everyone has an opportunity to get and stay sober, regardless of our visible and invisible disabilities.
